Wilson McCaskill started his professional life as an actor in the United Kingdom. In 1975 he left the UK to set up his own acting school and theatre company in Perth, Western Australia.

His innovative work with children and adults at his acting school lead to an awareness by many teachers of the positive benefits his acting classes had on the behaviour of students.

Responding to a demand, from an increasing number of schools, for a program to address the social and emotional development of children, Wilson started The Game Factory in 1990.

His games approach towards the improvement of pro-social behaviour continues to evolve and develop, keeping it relevant to the issues facing teachers, parents and children in today’s schools.

Wilson’s work in a great number of schools throughout Australia created the real life, classroom experiences that have helped to shape the program into the success it is today.

Wilson is a sought after presenter in both education and corporate arenas and his professional development workshops have inspired many teachers and schools to make The Game Factory program a regular and important feature of their classroom timetables.
